Cut the Rope is a physics-based puzzle video game for mobile gaming platforms. It was developed in 2010 by Russian developers ZeptoLab and is published by Chillingo.[4] It uses the Crystal and Game Center social networking services.

Opinions of Cut the Rope
The game’s story is pretty simple; there is a strange box that appears at your door which contains a little monster called Om Nom. On the box it says feed him with candy. You cut the rope to feed the candy to the little monster. Cutting the rope is done by using your finger and and it is all about perfect timing. It is a pretty creative gameplay mechanic that works really well. Levels start off pretty easy but soon enough the challenge kicks in. The game never gets to the point of frustration but it does get harder and will require the player to act quickly. Soon you will encounter spiders, spiked objects, electricity and other hazards which increase the game’s difficulty.
A Valentine’s Day update for Cut the Rope has just hit the App Store, featuring 25 new levels and a fun new gameplay gimmick. This time, the candy you must feed to adorable little Om Nom comes divided into two pieces, and you need to make the pieces touch and connect before he’ll accept them. What a picky little critter he is!
The connect-the-candy gimmick is thoroughly explored in the the new levels, all of which are up to the standard of excellence we’ve come to expect from this terrific physics puzzler. We completed the new levels in about 20 minutes, so they’re not very tough. But getting all three stars in each one will draw it out a little longer.
Easy or not, Cut the Rope is one of the top Must Have games on the App Store. If you haven’t bought it yet, be sure to download it for yourself or your Valentine.
